Osaka Castle
One of Japan’s most famous landmarks, originally built by warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The reconstructed main tower houses a museum about the samurai era, with panoramic city views from the top. Stunning during cherry blossom season.
Harukas 300 Observatory
Three-tiered observation areas on the 58th–60th floors of Abeno Harukas (Japan’s tallest skyscraper). Spectacular views of Osaka with an open-air atrium and enclosed glass viewing area.
Dotonbori
Osaka’s most iconic entertainment district along the canal. Neon signs, the famous Glico running man billboard, takoyaki stalls, izakayas, and nightlife. A must-visit.
Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
One of the world’s largest aquariums. See whale sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, and hundreds of other marine species. Located next to Tempozan Harbor Village.
Universal Studios Japan (USJ)
One of the most popular theme parks in the world. Harry Potter’s Wizarding World, Super Nintendo World, thrilling rides and seasonal events for all ages.
Shitennō-ji Temple
One of Japan’s oldest Buddhist temples, founded by Prince Shotoku over 1,400 years ago. A symbol of Japanese traditional culture with serene grounds and ancient structures.
Ota Road – Nipponbashi
Osaka’s “Akihabara” — packed with anime shops, figure stores, video game retailers, and maid cafés. A must-visit for fans of Japanese pop culture.
Shinsekai
Osaka’s colorful retro district. Home to Tsutenkaku Tower. Best place to try kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers). Remember: No double-dipping!
